In this article, we'll walk you through how to create a new workspace and manage an existing Workspace in Virtru Collaborate.

Before You Begin
- Your organization must have Virtru Collaborate enabled. If you still don't see Virtru Collaborate in your Secure Share navigation, contact your Virtru administrator or Virtru Support.
- COMING SOON: Your administrator may restrict who can create Virtru Collaborate Workspaces. If you do not see the + Add button, reach out to your administrator to confirm your permissions.
Accessing Virtru Collaborate
1. Navigate to https://secure.virtru.com/secure-share/, enter your email address, and click Continue
2. If prompted, choose your sign in method. You may do so via your provider or a one-time verification link. Note: if your organization has configured SSO with Virtru, you will be directed to your Identity Provider
If you selected Send Verification Email, you will be directed to a "Check your inbox" page
You will also receive an email from verify@virtru.com. Select Verify Me to complete the process or enter the one-time code on the "Check your inbox" page
3. Upon successful verification, you will land on the outbound "Securely Share" page. Using the navigation menu on the left, select Virtru Collaborate
Create a Workspace
1. On the Virtru Collaborate Workspaces page, click + Add in the upper-right corner
2. In the Create Workspace dialog, complete the following:
- Enter Workspace Name (required): Enter a name for your Virtru Collaborate
- Add Description (optional): Add a brief description to help members understand the Workspace's purpose.
- Add People/Groups (optional): Under the Access section, enter the email addresses or group names of the members you'd like to invite. Both internal and external users can be added
2. When ready, click Create Workspace. Your new Workspace will appear in the Workspace list. You can click into it to start adding files
Manage a Workspace
1. On the main Virtru Collaborate page, clicking on a listed Workspace will open a detail pane on the right. Select the pencil icon to edit the members of the Workspace
That same option is visible if you double-clicked into the Workspace
2. Add and/or remove users, and click Save Workspace
New Member Experience
When you add someone to a Workspace, they will receive a confirmation email.
