From time to time, the Virtru app needs to reactivate itself - a process it generally handles automatically, without user input. Part of the process requires that Virtru delivers an activation email that the app must find to complete the process.
When this happens, you may receive an email in your inbox that looks like the screenshot below.
Steps to take
If you were not in the process of activating the Virtru app yourself, you will need to check if anything about the email account that you originally configured on the Virtru app has changed recently. I.e. username, password, server configurations.
If there has been a change, you will need to open the app and ensure proper configuration of your account settings (including username, password, and server settings if applicable, etc.)
If you are no longer using the app, you may simply uninstall it.
