Changes to Google Vault Compatibility
Google has recently released a new interface for Vault, found at https://vault.google.com/. With the release of our newest plugin version, (v9.0.0), we now support this new interface. The old interface, found at https://ediscovery.google.com/discovery/, is no longer supported.
About
In addition to use in Gmail, the Virtru Email Protection Chrome extension can also be used to allow admins to search, decrypt, and manage their team's secure content in Google Vault.

If you would like to enable Google Vault support for your team, please contact your customer success manager or contact support to request access and confirm that this is part of your subscription.
Decrypting Content in Vault
Virtru administrators have permission to decrypt any content that their Virtru team can decrypt. Within Vault, admins will be able to decrypt all emails and attachments sent by their team and any secure content sent to their team (that has not been revoked).
Searching for Encrypted Content in Vault
Encrypted emails can only be searched in Vault if your team has enabled Encrypted Search. Then, your Retention and eDiscovery teams will be able to search both unencrypted and encrypted messages via the Vault interface.
Note
Encrypted Search only works for messages that were sent after the feature was enabled for a team and will only allow admins to search encrypted emails sent by their team (and not external users). Any secure messages sent prior to enabling Encrypted Search will not have corresponding search tokens but can still be decrypted.
Note about search operators
To use Virtru in Vault, you will be using the same plugin initially designed for Gmail. As such, Encrypted Search in Vault relies on and requires Gmail search operators to function, which vary slightly from the standard Vault operators.
Even if your team has not enabled Encrypted Search, you can still locate encrypted messages in Vault by searching for all emails with the phrase "START PROTECTED MESSAGE TDF". (To exclude drafts, include "-label:drafts" in your search). You will just not be able to search the body of those encrypted messages.
Disabling Google Vault Support
