About Custom Branding

Custom Branding allows you to customize Virtru's products to match your brand's unique identity. In addition to your brand represented within the web address, you will also be able to include your organization’s logo and brand colors, too. These elements will be prominently displayed across all supported products, creating a familiar and cohesive experience for your users. Supported products include:

Secure Reader
Control Center
Secure Share
Email Template

Applying Custom Branding

Request Subdomain Configuration

Subdomain configuration is a prerequisite to using Custom Branding. Please follow the instructions in this article to get a subdomain configured for your account.
If your organization has multiple emailing domains, you may be eligible for multiple subdomains.

Navigate to the Branding page in the Control Center

Self-service custom branding is managed in the Virtru Control Center. Admins will see the Branding tab in Admin section of the left menu.
When you land on the branding page, you will see a list of configured subdomains. Select the subdomain you wish to modify by clicking EDIT BRANDING.

Configure Your Brand Elements

Add Email Domains. Add the emails domains you want to apply to this subdomain. Even if you only have one subdomain, you must list your emailing domains here in order for the email template to update. You will only see domains that have been associated with your team. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or Support if a domain is missing.
Logo. Upload the logo you would like to use for this subdomain.

Supported file types: PNG, JPG, SVG, WEBP
Max File Size: 5MB
Max Aspect Ratio: 1
Primary Color. This color will be applied to the header area and left navigation in Secure Share and Control Center. It will appear in the header in Secure Reader and the top of the email template.

You can either input a hex code or use the color picker.
Sign In Page Text. This will be displayed on the Secure Share sign in page prior to signing in.
Intro Text. This text will be displayed in the Unencrypted Introduction portion of your "Unlock Message" template when sending secure emails.
When ready, select APPLY CHANGES at the top of the page. Changes may take up to 30 seconds to apply.

Preview Custom Branding

While modifying a specific subdomain, you will see the border and logo update on the Control Center after you APPLY CHANGES
You can also click PREVIEW EMAIL to see how your email template will look for that subdomain
