The Virtru Hosted Gateway can integrate with almost any application as long as the application meets the prerequisites outlined here. Our Gateway is a standard MTA that will accept mail from any source that can create an RFC822 compliant message.
Other sections in the Virtru Hosted Gateway section provide integrations for mail platforms and programs including Office 365, Zendesk, etc. This section provides the general information you might need to integrate with other mail enabled applications that have not been outlined in our knowledge base.

Header
Authentication (Required)
The Virtru Hosted Gateway authenticates inbound traffic via header authentication. The application sending to the Virtru Hosted Gateway must have the ability to add an X-Header.

Virtru will provide the Authentication code.
Decryption (Optional mode)
If you are using the inbound decrypt mode the Virtru Hosted Gateway uses an X-Header to dictate a decryption request.
For every inbound decrypt request, this header must exist.
