Virtru works with MDM and deployments that require server permission. The permissions and key value pairs needed are outlined in this article.

Permissions
For deployments that require server permission to authenticate, Virtru apps will adhere to any settings that are enforced by the ActiveSync or Google Sync device policies, and will act as its own ActiveSync device.
If configuration fails, you may need to whitelist the specific Exchange Device Identifier. If configuring an Android device, you can find this identifier in your MDM logs after a failed configuration.
On iOS app, the Exchange Device Identifier can be found in advance by navigating to either Exchange or Google Sync and selecting the Let me configure my server settings option:

For environments that would like to roll out the Virtru apps with preconfigured server settings, we support the following Key/Value Pairs for ActiveSync and Google Sync.
Key/Value Pairs
These are the supported key/value pairs for a containerized deployment (AppConnect) of the Virtru Mobile Application.
Required Keys:
- userEmailAddress
- easServer
- easUsername
- easPassword
- deviceId (unique device ID from MDM)
Optional:
- deviceTypePhone (optional)
- deviceTypePad (optional)
- domain (optional - not needed for G Suite)
