This guide includes instructions for testing the overall CSE configuration with Google Workspace.

This document assumes you have completed the Google Console/Admin Changes.

Virtru Private Keystore for CSE Gmail is configured within your environment.
1. Email Encryption Test:
- Send a test email from a configured user account to another user.
- Confirm that the email is encrypted and the recipient can decrypt it successfully.
2. User Certificate Verification:
- Verify that each user’s S/MIME certificate is recognized by Google Workspace.
- Check that encryption is successful when using different email clients, such as Gmail or Outlook.
3. Connectivity and Access Test:
- Use the Python client to verify the connection between Google Workspace and the Virtru Private Keystore.
- check the server status i.e. csesrv.yourdomain.com/status
docker logs -f <container_name or container_id>
- Ensure that the process completes without errors, and validate the logs to confirm successful key upload.
4. Root CA Certificate Validation:
- Ensure that users within the domain can communicate securely using the S/MIME certificates.
- Confirm that the Google Admin Console shows the uploaded root CA certificate as active and valid for the domain.
