A tdf.html file is an encrypted file that must be opened through your browser to obtain the unencrypted contents. Due to the cryptographic operations that must be performed by Virtru's Secure Reader web app to open that file and to verify your identity, certain browsers are not currently supported. Supported browsers and our recommended settings are listed below:

- Current and previous four versions. Older versions may also work but are not guaranteed.
- Cookies: Third-party cookies must be allowed.
- Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies & Other Site Data > General Settings: Block third-party cookies in Incognito OR Allow all cookies.
- Incognito mode is supported, unless "Block third-party cookies in Incognito" has been selected above.
Firefox

- "Standard" and "Strict" privacy settings are supported.
- Cookies: Third-party cookies must be allowed.
- If using "Custom" privacy settings:
- Settings > Privacy & Security > Custom > Cookies: Cross-site and social media trackers OR unchecked.
- If using "Custom" privacy settings:
- Private browsing mode is not supported.
Edge
- Version 79 or higher ("New" Chromium-based Edge).
- "Basic", "Balanced", "Strict" Tracking settings are supported.
- Cookies: Third-party cookies must be allowed.
- Settings > Site Permissions > Cookies and site data > Block third-party cookies: Off.
- InPrivate browsing mode is supported.
