If you receive the error, "Contact Your IT Administrator” when trying to access the Secure Reader, your firewall could be blocking access. If you do have a firewall in place, you'll need to contact your IT administrator to ask them to whitelist the endpoints found here.
While this error is most commonly triggered by a firewall, it can also be caused by your settings in Internet Explorer. We recommend the following privacy and security settings to avoid encountering a "Contact Your IT Administrator" error:
- Go to 'Internet Options' > 'Privacy' > 'Advanced' > Accept cookies from both first- and third-party sites.
- Go to 'Internet Options' > 'Security' > Set to 'Medium-High' or lower.
- Go to 'Compatibility View' settings > Ensure Virtru is not on this list, and the box next to 'Use Microsoft compatibility lists' is unchecked.
- Go to 'Internet Options' > 'Security' > 'Trusted Sites' > 'Sites' > Add https://*.virtru.com
